Rcgp Educational Agreement

The role of the ES is to help students or trainees plan their training and obtain agreed learning skills. He is responsible for the education agreement and the pooling of all relevant supporting documents in order to give summary judgment at the end of the clinical internship and/or a number of internships. 2.5 Discuss the learning needs of trainees, how they are developed and the assessment methods used to assess whether the trainee is fulfilling the required skills (i.e. entering into a learning agreement). For semi-annual audits, you first self-assess your progress on the 13 functions. They are then evaluated by the pedagogical tutor. The RCGP accreditation label is an identifiable symbol of quality assurance, which classifies educational activities with professionalism, know-how and commitment to the highest standards of general practice. Towards the end of the training, there is a final exam, and the pedagogical supervisor gives a recommendation to your dean ARCP panel regarding your overall ability. The ARCP panel determines whether you are responsible for licensing on the basis of the evidence provided in the USSR and in your ePortfolio trainee as a whole. Some training programs designate an ES for each training course.

The roles of the CS and the ES can then be merged. These people need a higher level of education development for their role than a CS, which will generally be much more demanding. You then accept a learning plan and the result of the audit will be recorded in your ePortfolio trainee. The pedagogical director decides whether your progress should be satisfactory, unsatisfactory or referred to the ARCP panel. Each intern should have a designated ES, responsible for monitoring the progress of this intern`s teaching over a period of time. 4.1. Review progress to date on program requirements and the apprenticeship placement agreement. While this is not the primary objective of ESR, you have the opportunity to take into account the breadth of coverage of clinical experience groups as well as progress in functions. When checking your ePortfolios intern, you and your educational tutor can monitor the breadth of knowledge described in the program, in preparation for the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) and clinical practice.

1.3 Is responsible for advancing learning during an agreed training period, with the knowledge of a mandatory program (foundation, specialty or family physician). It is a complex role that covers education management, education control and feedback, understanding the role of evaluation in learning, using portfolios as a learning and evaluation tool, understanding the identification, support and management of a struggling apprentice, and supporting the career decision of trainees. It also requires an understanding of the role of the CS and how to connect with that person in situations where the two roles are separated.
